What does a rental car cost per day?
2026 market rates start at RM80 a day for a hatchback, RM120 for a family sedan and RM180 upward for an SUV. Motorcycles are far cheaper at RM30 a day, vans start at RM150 and coach buses at RM500.
What the rate covers
- Basic insurance and road tax.
- A daily mileage allowance — ask how many km before extra charges.
- Collection at the branch of your choice.
What is usually charged separately
- A refundable deposit.
- Returning to a different branch.
- Additional drivers or child seats.
When the weekly rate wins
Most branches discount weekly hire by roughly 15 to 20 percent. If your trip runs five days or more, ask for the weekly rate before confirming a daily booking.

Ways to pay less
Book early for school holidays, collect from a city branch rather than the airport, and send your dates and location together so we can quote the cheapest option straight away.
In short
Every booking is confirmed over WhatsApp with the dates, collection point and vehicle type. With those three we can confirm availability and price without a long back-and-forth.
If you are still weighing two options, just send your trip details. We will suggest the vehicle that fits the distance, the passenger count and the budget.
